What is it about? There are many plans (articles, books, blogs and websites) out there that claim to help the Christian homemaker. Which of them will stand the test of time? The world wants you to cease seeking God's will. They'll call it old-fashioned or behind the times because they don't want to live according to what God says in His Word. The old lie, "Has God indeed said?" is still around today...

The Creator knows the ones He has made. He knows their needs. He knows their brokenness. He knows what will help and comfort them. His written Word, the Bible, contains the best plan for our lives and is still relevant today.

By God's grace, I want to admonish the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, to be discreet, chaste, homemakers, good, obedient to their own husbands that the Word of God may not be blasphemed.
(Titus 2:4-5 NKJV)

I want to challenge and encourage us, the older women, to pass on to the younger women what you and I have learned in our own life so that the women of the next generation/s do not have to start from scratch nor have to go through the many avoidable mistakes that you and I have made.
Who is writing this? My name is Carmen. I'm in my early 50s. Some of you might know me under my pen name, Mirjam Fels. I'm a child of God, a helpmeet, a homemaker, and a writer who was born and raised in Germany but is now living in the gorgeous Sunny South East of Ireland. I love to study, read, and write about the Christian faith, biblical womanhood, homemaking, home education, music, Ireland, dog training and writing.
